Role / Function :
- Service Portfolio Manager, being responsible for the definition and set-up of the new business field 'Consulting Services'.
Business Context :
- In the past, large consulting projects for security and safety and were executed mainly case-by-case in a few countries and with mixed results.
- Request to review possible options to build up a consulting business as a new business field for security and safety.
Actions :
- Considering the different options and opportunities, a suitable business model was defined for Consulting Services within the corporate structure it would be based on, also taking into account the prevailing corporate culture.
- The approach allowed a gradual development into the business based on a staged investment.
Outcome :
- Comprehensive business model and approved business plan for the introduction of 'Consulting Services'.
- First 'Consulting Packages' were developed and implemented.
